Rediscover the Art of Fermentation – A Workshop To Nourish Your Body & Soul
There’s something deeply grounding about returning to the wisdom of traditional food practices – slow, intentional, nourishing and joyful.
These are all values which align with my business, which is why this summer, I’m inviting you to step into that world of nourishment and connection with a fermenting workshop led by Therese Eriksen of Shoreham Homoeopathy, held in the beautiful, flower-filled grounds of Sussex Prairies.
Fermentation is more than a trend – it’s a timeless, natural way of enhancing our health, supporting our digestion, and infusing our kitchens with creativity and care. Traditional diets across cultures have long embraced live, fermented foods and drinks – think tangy sauerkraut, rich sourdough, and fizzy kombucha. Yet, in recent decades, many of us have lost touch with these simple, everyday rituals.
This workshop is your chance to reconnect.
What to Expect
Therese will gently guide you through the practical steps of making sourdough bread, sauerkraut, fermented carrot & ginger, and kombucha – all from scratch. You’ll discover how incredibly doable it is to bring these recipes into your own kitchen, even if you’re completely new to fermenting.
This is a hands-on session, so come ready to get involved and create! You’ll leave with your own ferments to take home, along with jars, starters, and a beautiful booklet of recipes to keep you going long after the day is done.
Tastings are included, so you’ll also get to experience the delicious possibilities these foods offer for your health and your tastebuds.
“Once you know the basics, you can get creative!”
That’s the magic of Therese’s workshops – practical, joyful, and empowering.
A Portrait in Bloom
And to make the day even more special, I’ll be there as your brand and lifestyle photographer, capturing the spirit of the workshop and offering you the opportunity to have your portrait taken in the extraordinary gardens of Sussex Prairies.
Imagine: wildflower meadows, golden light, the scent of herbs in the air, and you – calm, content, and radiant from an afternoon of creativity and connection. Whether you’d love a keepsake of the day or a beautiful, soulful portrait for your business or personal use, this is a rare chance to be photographed in a truly magical setting.
